Ear Microsuction Service
At Apple Tree Pharmacy, we offer professional ear microsuction services to help you maintain clear and healthy ears. Microsuction is a safe, effective, and painless procedure for removing earwax, performed by our trained professionals in a hygienic and comfortable environment.
What Happens at Your Appointment?
Your ears will be examined to determine whether microsuction is appropriate and whether the wax is soft enough to remove safely.
If the wax is not sufficiently softened, you may be advised to continue using olive oil drops and return for a further appointment.
Consultation Fee: £25 (Non-Refundable)
The £25 fee covers your consultation and ear examination. This fee is payable when booking and is non-refundable.
Important Preparation Instructions
To give the best chance of successful wax removal, you must soften the ear wax before your appointment by using olive oil drops:

3 drops into the affected ear(s)

3 times daily

For a minimum of 7 days before your appointment
Failure to prepare your ears correctly may result in treatment being delayed.
Treatment Charges
If microsuction treatment is carried out, the following additional charges apply:

One ear: £45

Both ears: £60
Please NoteThe £25 consultation fee is separate from any treatment charges.If no ear wax is present, or if wax cannot be removed safely during the appointment, no additional treatment charge will be applied.The consultation fee remains payable in all cases as it covers the professional assessment and examination.
